Shipping Policy

1. Shipping Methods and Transit Times

*Delivery times stated are estimates and not a guaranteed delivery time.

1.1 China Post Surface Parcel (2-4 Months): This is the slowest method available for shipping parcels from China. There is no tracking available, only delivery confirmation. A signature is required at the time of delivery for this service.

1.2 China Post SAL (3-16 Weeks): This is a combined AIR/LAND shipping method. This service does require a signature at the time of delivery.

1.3 China Post AIR (2-12 Weeks): AIR shipping has limited tracking with less frequent updates compared to EMS. This service does require a signature at the time of delivery.

1.4 China Post EMS (1-8 Weeks): This is the safest and fastest method of receiving your parcels from China. It offers real-time tracking and requires a signature at the time of delivery.

1.5 China Post e-Packet (3-20 Weeks):  Price is weight-based per 100 grams, with an upper weight limit of 2 kilograms gross parcel weight (3 kilograms to Russia). No signature is required at the time of delivery, but it's important to note that claims/refunds are not possible if the parcel shows as "delivered" but you didn't receive it. Do not choose this method if you are not confident your delivery location is secure.

1.6 DHL (5 to 10 Business Days):DHL is extremely fast and reliable, but cannot deliver to PO Boxes, Poste Restante, APO/FPO. A signature is typically required for delivery, and providing a phone number and email allows DHL to arrange delivery using the "DHL On Demand" system. It's important to carefully consider the delivery options and associated liabilities, especially if opting for non-contact delivery. If you have any doubts about the safety of your parcel please wait and sign for the package when DHL makes the delivery.

2. Customs

2.1 The local customs may require you to pay custom taxes. As an importer, you're responsible for paying customs taxes and import fees if the arise.

In the event that the Customs Agency of your country disallows entry of the parcel we cannot be responsible. Upon receiving the returned parcel, we will refund you for the amount you paid, deducting the shipping costs (both to and from your country) and imposing a 30% restocking fee, along with any applicable import fees. If the parcel is lost or unable to be re-imported back into China, we can not be held responsible, and no refund will be possible. It is important for you to be familiar with the customs requirements of your home country to avoid unnecessary and costly problems and delays. If you require documentation, certificates, invoices, or anything else to be sent with the parcel, please inform us before placing an order.

If your parcel is returned to us as "undeliverable" or "wrong address" or denied by your Customs agency (or any other reason), we can not be held responsible. We can attempt to send the parcel again, but you will be charged postage fees for the returned shipping as well as the second attempt at shipping to you. If you request a refund, please be aware that there are no 100% refunds for items sent back to us. If the order was made more than 6 months prior, no refund is possible. Please be familiar with the customs requirements of your home country so that you can avoid unnecessary and costly problems and delays.

2.2 Special Notice to EU Customers: Due to changes implemented in the EU regarding the collection of VAT, all shipments originating outside of the EU will be subject to VAT regardless of the value, beginning July 1st, 2021. This supersedes the previous VAT threshold of 22 Euros. These charges are the sole responsibility of the buyer. By agreeing to the terms at checkout, you agree to pay any and all charges levied by your Customs Agency, postal authorities and/or courier (DHL, and others). Agreeing to the terms also means that you accept any delays caused by your country's Customs processing procedures.

2.3 Canadian DHL Customers: Duties must be paid on orders above $20 CAD. Duties and processing fees will be paid to DHL by the recipient. Refusal to pay Customs duties and processing fees will result in the parcel being sent back, and additional shipping charges will apply (even if you qualified for free shipping initially). DHL may charge Customs clearing fees or processing fees even if the stated value is less than $150 CAD. If you have any questions about which charges DHL may require from you please contact DHL Canada and inquire directly with them before making a purchase.

2.4 United Kingdom DHL Customers: Tea cannot be shipped to a business or commercial address. Shipping to a business address will result in the parcel being returned to China, with no refund of the shipping fee. Please ensure shipping to a personal or residential address only.

2.5 USA DHL Customers: There are no duties or processing fees for shipments to the USA.
